Shoutout to Drs. Gubac , Authelet and Terell for their latest community education event!

BIG recognition to Dr. Deidre Gubac for organizing yesterday’s community education event at the hospital’s entrance.  She was joined by Drs. Kayla Authelet and Steph Terrell to train over 40 people in life saving techniques (bystander CPR, naloxone administration, and hemorrhage control).  They collaborated with AHS’s Stefania Kaplanes (our Injury Prevention coordinator), Elizabeth Poindexter (from the PACE team), and the Bridge Clinic+HEPPAC.

These Highlanders held a fantastic community-engaging event.  People were very enthusiastic to learn from them all and gain these potentially life-saving skills!
